A fuel return line (leak-off line) carries excess fuel away from the injectors back to the fuel tank or filter. Because it operates under lower pressure but still requires exact fit, it is made of nylon or rubber tube with OEM-style connectors. Replacing a cracked or hardened return line prevents fuel misting, poor idling and fire risk.
